Going Rogue.

My excitement level for Rogue One is growing with each passing day. My love of Star Wars is, of course, well documented here and elsewhere. However, the reason I’m so keen on Rogue One is because I am very excited to see the Star Wars universe branch out from the trilogy format.
Outside of the television series, we’ve not had a Star Wars film that wasn’t part of “The Saga”, so I’ll be very interested to see what stylistic choices are made with Rogue One.
Also, the Rogue One action figure line has delivered to us the finest 3 3/4 inch Stormtrooper figure Hasbro has ever produced.
That’s all I’m asking for for Xmas, just stormtroopers. I want a legion of Stormtroopers. As a child I only had one actual stormtrooper figure, and it was a hand-me-down from my cousins Brad and Julie. I still have it, and the diecast Star Destroyer they also bestowed upon me. It’s hard to have your heroes fight legions of bad guys when you only have the one. My stormtrooper was forever being resurrected so he could be an army. Now I hope to fulfill the dreams of youth and actually have an army of stormtroopers.
Fingers crossed this will be the merriest of Xmasses!
