2016, what a year. I can not remember a year that was as much of a shit storm as this one has been in my lifetime. Granted, it’s possible there may have been some when I was too young to recognize them as such. Certainly I have personally had years worse than 2016, but in terms of the events of a single year impacting everyone negatively, 2016 really takes the cake. In fact, if 2016 stole a cake from everybody on the planet, that wouldn’t be at all out of character for this bullshit year.
