Nonstop Pop!

This isn’t just based on a true story, it’s based on TWO true stories. That’s right, this has actually happened to me not once, but twice, if you can believe that.

The first time was, of course, disheartening. No one likes to be called fat while having doughnuts tossed at them. The second time though, that made me wonder: Was this some sort of pop culture reference I wasn’t in on? Was this like a Mean Girls thing, or some other such movie with which I was unfamiliar? Would I be enjoying the joke if I knew its context? Or would it still just make me feel shitty?

My guess is the latter.
