The New IXOYE.

Honestly, I cannot wait for the day when I can put on a mechanical exo-suit and do all manner of cool shit. And if that mechanical exo-suit need be in the form of a robotic Jesus, I can deal with that. Honestly, ever since I read Starship Troopers as a lad, I’ve been waiting for the day when Powered Armour would be available. Needless to say, I’ve been pretty disappointed in the future so far.
When I was a kid, 2000 and beyond held so much promise! this was supposed to be the time of flying cars, hover boards, GULL WING DOORS and so forth. What has it been instead? More of the same, that’s what. I don’t fly to work yet. I don’t have a food replicator. My car doesn’t have GULL WING DOORS! and worst of all I own neither a hover board, nor powered armour.
You know what? Fuck the new millennium. By the time the really cool shit finally gets here, I’m going to be too old to enjoy it. That’s what I like to call bullshit kids. Why did science fiction get me all stoked for the things to come if they were gonna come so late? Damn you speculative fiction, damn you to Hell!
