“Where’s your tattoos? I thought you said you were going to try putting them in the comic going forward.”
How convenient of you to remember! That was indeed the plan. Alas, in the making of this comic I discovered that including my tattoos just makes my arm too busy, especially when it’s seen against my plaid shirt. The combination is not appealing to the eye. Therefore, my tattoos will have to remain for the real world only.
He-Man and the Master of the Universe was a show and toy line that was a very big deal when I was a kid. I remember liking it, but not loving it. I definitely remember liking the story line as it appeared on the packaging and comics the toys came with considerably more than the actual show. There’s this weird kind of forgotten mythology for He-Man that existed before the show. The original version before it was altered to suit the needs of an animated series. I wish we’d gotten to see that original version.
